We would like to extand our sincere appreciation to Politeknik Merlimau, Politeknik Mersing & Politeknik Ungku Omar for giving us an opportunity to write and publish this book. Our special thanks go to Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti for providing a platform for us to share our knowledge with others. This book is written specifically for students and educator who want to learn more about fiber optic communication systems and improve their skills. Fiber optic technology is known as the most efficient and reliable communication medium, offering many advantages compared to other transmission methods. This book is a continuation of the previous volume, Fiber Optic Communication System: Introduction to Fiber Optic. It discusses the core components of fiber optic systems and provides an overview of the network systems involved in fiber optic communication. It is our hope that this book will serve as a useful reference and help readers gain a clearer and deeper understanding of this important technology.
